About Book - "The present book on 'Research Methodology' is a multi-purpose and multi-faceted book. It covers the syllabi of various programmes of various Indian universities. This book will also be equally useful to the students those are pursuing their courses through correspondence of distance mode of education. This book covers all major aspects of research methodology in the areas of social sciences, science and technology and library science.
This book is divided in 17 Chapters covering basic aspects of research, research process, research design and other applied aspects of methodology including designing of research, formulation of research and different techniques of research, data analysis, content analysis and research report writing etc.

 

About Author - Prof Manoj Dixit has been a teacher of Public Administration at the University of Lucknow for over two decades. He has been to Indira Gandhi National Open University and also Addis Ababa University for teaching and designing curriculum in Public Administration. He has presented several papers at the International level and has travelled to many countries. Prof Manoj Dixit is currently the Head of Department, Department of Public Administration at the University of Lucknow.
Prof. Dixit has undergone training in Distance Education Pedagogy, conducted by STRIDE, IGNOU, Delhi; has written one full Block on Places of Religious Tourism in Uttar Pradesh for Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon Open University, Allahabad; and has also written 06 Units for various courses in Public Administration for Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. This includes 3 for Human Resource Development; and 3 for Disaster Management.
Prof. Dixit has over two dozen Ph.D.s to his credit. He has been engaged with over a dozen research and evaluation studies. He also edits the first online journal of Public Administration in India– Dynamics of Public Administration. Prof. Dixit has seven books besides over 30 articles to his credit.
