About Author - Nadeem Hasnain is a Professor of Social Anthropology in Lucknow University (India). A well known teacher, researcher and activist, he has published twelve books and several research papers in reputed journals. He is also editor of The Eastern Anthropologist and Islam and Muslim Societies : A Social Science Journal. He has also been Fulbright Scholar in Residence in USA and taught at St. Lawrence University, New York, for two years. He also writes for popular magazines and newspapers in English, Hindi and Urdu and participates in panel discussion on TV Channels.
Currently, Prof. Hasnain is Pro Vice-Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University (A Central University) and based at Wardha in Maharashtra.
