About Authors - Dr. Rajiv Kumar Maheshwari, M.Com. Ph.D. is at present working in Lucknow University as Senior Lecturer, in the Department of Applied Economics. He is associated with teaching and research in the Dept. for the last ten years. For a number of years, he has also worked as Assistant Director, Master of International Business Programme. He has contributed articles and research papers in various economic journals.His areas of specialization are, Currency and Banking, Public Finance, Economics of Public Enterprises and Public Utilities and Infrastructure Finance. He has also co-authored a book in Hindi on Public Finance entitled Lok Vitt.

Dr. Ashish Maheshwari, MFC, AICWA, Ph.D. is at present working as Manager (Finance) in Koshika Telecom, Ltd., a cellular Mobile operater at UP (East). He is also Secretary, Lucknow Chapter of ICWAI. He has participated in a number of Conferences and Symposiums and has contributed several articles and research papers in various economic journals.
